and an excuse to show you my new, very old Imperial Good Companion typewriter which, as you can see is beautiful.
I bought it from a lovely man in Devon and it’s a joy to type with although there are no mod cons like exclamation marks ( I have to type an apostrophe and then backspace and enter a full stop underneath it!). My son was horrified that the backspace button didn’t delete the mistakes, so I do need to buy Tippex, but won’t it be lovely to type real vintage labels for crafty loveliness?!
I came across this blog while I was off work with Bronchitis and trawling around the internet to fight off the boredom. I particularly like the blog on 16th March – “When it all goes horribly wrong!” Because so often it does!!
